JEWELRY CARE AND CLEANING

LET'S PAMPER YOUR SPARKLING TREASURES!

Jewelry is made to be worn, loved, and enjoyed through all of life’s little moments. At Glaxias, every piece is created with care to bring a little extra sparkle to their day.

And just like anything special, jewelry needs a little love too. With a few simple care habits, you can help keep their favorite pieces looking bright, beautiful, and ready for every special moment.

Everyday Care

LIMIT WATER EXPOSURE

Remove jewelry before swimming, bathing, showering, or prolonged water play. Brief contact with water during gentle cleaning is fine when appropriate, but avoid soaking or leaving jewelry wet for extended periods.

LAST ON, FIRST OFF

Put jewelry on after perfume, lotion, sunscreen, hairspray, and cosmetics have fully dried. At the end of the day, make jewelry one of the first things you take off.

PLAY HARD, JEWELRY OFF

Remove jewelry before sports, exercise, rough play, or other active activities. This helps protect it from sweat, friction, pulling, and accidental bumps.

GIVE IT A COZY HOME

When not in use, store each piece separately in a cool, dry jewelry box or pouch to help prevent scratches, tangling, and unnecessary wear.

4 SIMPLE STEPS TO CARE FOR THEIR JEWELRY

A little love and gentle care can go a long way in keeping their favorite jewelry looking bright and beautiful. Follow these simple steps to help protect its shine and keep each treasured piece ready for many more special moments.

MIX A GENTLE CLEANING SOLUTION

Step 1

MIX A GENTLE CLEANING SOLUTION

Mix a few drops of mild dish soap with warm water in a small bowl. Avoid using hot water, as excessive heat may affect certain jewelry materials.

GENTLY SOAK YOUR JEWELRY

Step 2

GENTLY SOAK YOUR JEWELRY

Gently place the jewelry in the cleaning solution and let it soak for about 5–10 minutes to help loosen dirt, oils, and everyday buildup. For delicate, plated, pearl, or otherwise sensitive pieces, avoid soaking unless the material-specific care instructions say it is suitable.

GENTLY BRUSH AWAY BUILDUP

Step 3

GENTLY BRUSH AWAY BUILDUP

Use a soft-bristle toothbrush or a soft, lint-free cloth to gently clean your jewelry. Carefully work around small details, settings, and hard-to-reach areas to remove any remaining dirt or buildup without scratching the surface.

RINSE, DRY & POLISH GENTLY

Step 4

RINSE, DRY & POLISH GENTLY

Rinse the jewelry gently with lukewarm water to remove any remaining soap. Then pat it dry with a soft, lint-free cloth and allow it to dry completely before wearing or storing.

CARE BY MATERIAL

Every jewelry material has its own unique qualities and care needs. We use carefully selected, durable materials designed with sensitive skin in mind, and our children’s jewelry meets ASTM F2923-20 safety standards. Follow the material-specific tips below to help protect each piece’s finish, shine, and beauty over time.

14K GOLD

Wipe gently after wear with a soft cloth. When deeper cleaning is needed, mild soap and lukewarm water may be used. Rinse carefully and dry completely.

925 STERLING SILVER

Keep dry when possible and wipe after wear to remove oils and moisture. Store separately in a dry place to help reduce tarnishing and scratches.

GOLD PLATED 925 STERLING SILVER

Avoid soaking, excessive rubbing, and prolonged contact with water, perfume, lotion, sweat, or household chemicals. Gentle care will help preserve the plated finish for longer.

CUBIC ZIRCONIA

Use a soft cloth or very soft-bristle brush to gently clean around the stone and setting. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh scrubbing.

PEARL

Wipe pearls gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth after wear. Avoid soaking, scrubbing, or exposing them to perfume, cosmetics, or cleaning products.

A LITTLE SAFETY REMINDER

Children’s jewelry should be removed before sleeping, bathing, swimming, sports, and active or unsupervised play.

For younger children, adult supervision is recommended while jewelry is being worn. Always check jewelry regularly for loose parts, damaged clasps, or signs of wear before use.
